An additional photo from the Festival of San Sebastian, showing the Campeón de los monitores, Ander, among others.
R-L: Yo (me), Jules, Unai, Ander, random girl that Haritz was hitting on, and Haritz himself, mouth wide open as usual.

Haritz and yo, after I had bought the first round.

Here's a shot of the worst day so far of the oil spill coming into the beaches of San Sebastian. Tons of huge blobs of oil just washed ashore one day, brought in from the change of winds along the coast. This has happened all along the northern coast of Spain, and is going to take a while to clean up all the rocky coves along the northern coast, a distingushing feature of the northern coastline. Jules and I have applied to help volunteer, but to this day have not received a phone call. The beaches were closed for several days after this happened, but have since reopened.

Jules made a seafood paella, a traditional and very tasty southern spanish dish, for dinner with a couple of friends. We were very excited about it, as you can tell. I'm still waiting for another one... hopefully soon.
