I knew that diving in Thailand was cheap and colorful, so we left Ton Sai and headed straight for Koh Tao (turtle island), the island infamous for its number of diving sites, as well as dive shops. We ended up staying for over a week, with Jules getting certified to dive, and I got my Advanced certifcation. With each dive costing rougly $12.50 and accomodation included, I can't imagine how it could have been better. And I saw my first shark, something that eluded me when diving in Australia. No sharks in this shot, and it's quite blurry, but you can't expect too much with a cheapo underwater camera rental.
