Once getting to the resorty Raileh, we made a short hike over a ridge to the tiny beach of Ton Sai. It's amazing how easy it is to get away from the crowds in Thailand. At Ton Sai we found this beachside bungalow for 150 baht a night (less than $4 US), the only one beachfront bungalow at this beach. Since it was relatively off-season, we were the only ones at the restaurant that ran the bungalow, and they treated us like family. I can't say enough about Ton Sai beach if you want to get away from it all.
