Left to myself on the Tongariro Circuit Trail, a 2/3 day hike that is supported by 4 huts. I had held off coming here until the weather had improved, which I'm glad I did as it made a big difference. This is a photo just as I was starting the hike in the evening, with heavy cloud cover but only about a 15 minute hike to the first hut. |
